Open Letter to SUAHH Fans from Coach Cole
Coach sent this along:
Dear Charger Nation,
I would like to thank all of you for your support and pride in the Charger program. Things certainly have not gone the way we would have liked them to over the past few weeks. Life is often that way and what is important is how we respond.
You have responded well and shown that Charger Pride is alive and well. I applaud the efforts of Geof, Will and all of you to create the atmosphere of hope and excitement. We are a long way from being done and a lot of work is going on to find a way to keep things going and building towards our future.
I know that you will continue to reflect the university in a positive manner and keep our focus on the great things we have here. Dr. Williams and the university have given more support than I would have thought possible and continue to lead our efforts. Mayor Tommy Battle, the City Council and the VBC all have weighed in and helped tremendously. The community has spoken loudly and we should be proud of UAHuntsville and Huntsville.
Thank you again for your enthusiasm and remember that if we work together, it is amazing the things we can accomplish. I know I will see all of you at the home opening weekend against Western Michigan University on October 23 and 24. That will be a great start to our home schedule and a fantastic opportunity to continue to show your support for Charger Hockey.
See you soon,
